New version of BeebIt released

Posted by Jeffrey Lee on 19:57, 20/7/2004 | ,

BeebIt, Michael Foot's popular BBC emulator, has been updated to version 0.56. Updates include faster shadow memory access for BBC B+'s and Master's, support for Interactive Help, a bug fix for Iyonix users without Mode 15 in their monitor definition file, and improved configuration windows - including a key remapping facility so games with awkward controls can be made easier to play.

BeebIt should run fine on all versions of RISC OS from 3.00 to 5.0x, so unless you have a cupboard full of BBC's there's no reason you should be without it.
